Job Description:
The chief objective of the Live Streaming Events Support Associate position at Old Dominion University is to ensure the seamless execution of live streaming events, providing a high-quality and engaging experience for both on-campus and remote participants. The associate will leverage their technical expertise to set up, troubleshoot, and maintain audio, video, and streaming equipment, expanding audience reach, fostering inclusivity, and supporting the university's mission of providing quality education through digital means.
Minimum Qualifications:
Working knowledge of audio/video equipment setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and live streaming platforms.
Some knowledge of networking, internet protocols, and/or connectivity troubleshooting in ensuring a seamless streaming experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
