Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced medical team within a growing federally qualified community health center. HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. "The Heart of Our Community" provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care.

LMHC or LMFT Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, the Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)'s function is to provide assessment, consultation, case management, behavior health treatment and resource acquisition to patients/clients referred by the providers in conjunction with HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. and the School-Based Health Center (SBHC).

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Pay Range: $73,342.31 - $87,984.21 annually*

• The pay range represents HealthFirst's good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting, in compliance with applicable laws. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and budget considerations. Candidates with less direct experience may be placed at the lower end of the range, while those with more significant or specialized experience may be considered at the higher end.

Benefits:

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Position requires a Massachusetts state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• At least 2 years post graduation experience in Child/Adolescent/Adult mental health.
• Satisfactory completion of continuing education credits as mandated by any professional boards, licensing agencies, or credentialing organizations.
• Spanish or Portuguese fluency preferred.
• Maintain CPR certification.
• Must submit a CORI Release Form and demonstrate proof of being free from disqualifying information.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle as some transportation may be required.
• Community health or clinical background preferred.

• Ability to maintain an organized work area and work collaboratively as a member of a team.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and time management skills to effectively communicate with patients and other providers.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
• Works well under pressure to manage stressful situations.
• Uses sound judgment and confidence in their practice.
• Abides by the Code of Ethics outlined by the American Counseling Association and American Mental Health Counselors Association.
• Ability to multi- task.
• Detail-oriented and accurate.

Salary Description

$73,342.31 - $87,984.21 annually
