Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking dependable and compassionate LNA/TLNA professionals for a travel assignment in St. Albans, VT. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and support residents in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting while working closely with licensed nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
This role requires strong patient interaction skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Support patient mobility including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation assistance
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to nursing staff
- Maintain patient safety, hygiene, and comfort throughout shifts
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized patient care areas
- Respond promptly to resident and patient needs
- Follow established care plans and facility protocols
- Collaborate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
- Active LNA/TLNA or CNA certification required
- Completion of state-approved nursing assistant training program required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work day or night shifts including 12-hour schedules
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow clinical instructions and patient care plans accurately
- Physical ability to assist with lifting, repositioning, and patient transfers
