Production - Load Out Operator

Position Overview

The production team is responsible for processing the raw food ingredients into bakery meal and loading it out for our customers. The Load Out Operator is specifically responsible for ensuring that Kibbles and high-quality Bakery Meal are loaded out to customers in an efficient and friendly manner. For many truckers, this role serves as the face of Zutat, so taking time for hospitality and connection are critical in this role.

Core responsibilities

• Take time to connect with truck drivers
• Oversee the computer and mechanical equipment in the loadout system
• Operate a wheel loader
• Communicate with managers in a timely way when encountering challenges
• Support the continuous safe function of equipment
• Provide support to the maintenance team during down time
• Support the cleanliness of the loadout office and area
• Complete any other tasks as directed by managers

Time Expectations

• The load out operator role is generally an 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM position Monday through Friday. However, there may be times when the work load is heavier.

Target Compensation

• $18/hour base pay
• Overtime at 1.5 X rate of base pay
  • At $18/hour, your likely yearly take home would be around $37,500
