Clean Harbors in Norwell, MA is looking for a Load Planner to join their safety conscious team! The Load Planner is an administrative role that is responsible for coordinating the efficient use of regional equipment and manpower to provide logistical services for internal and external customers.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous experience in - distribution/deployment planning and or scheduling, route planning etc.
Proficiency in Windows based applications
Excellent interpersonal, communication, verbal, and written skills
Strong computer skills with a solid proficiency in Microsoft based applications
Strong Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookup, ECT)
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Organizational skills
Time management skills
Ability to schedule and plan

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Reviews available loads for a specific region and assigns to drivers based on driver HOS, utilization and least cost routing.
Integrates technology: including PC Miller, Samsara etc. into the preplanning process.
Administers various aspects of drivers' HOS compliance program.
Maintains strong communication and working relationships with the Regional Logistics teams
Ensures load plan meet all DOT compliance requirements
Operates within a prescribed daily operational plan relative to budgeted hours and on-time performance.
Some travel to fleet sites is required: 0-25%
