We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Loader / Crate Builder (Manual Loading - No Forklifts) to join our growing team. This position involves manual loading and unloading of trucks, organizing materials for shipment, and building crates using hand and power tools. This is a hands-on, physical role requiring attention to detail and the ability to maintain a steady workflow. Forklifts are not used in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manually loads and unloads trucks with products and materials.
  • Stacks and arranges items inside truck to maximize space and prevent damage.
  • Verifies the accuracy of shipments by checking quantities against orders.
  • Cuts, measures and assembles crates and structural components using hand and power tools.
  • Follows and implements instructions from supervisors.
  • Maintains a steady and efficient workflow.
  • Participates in safety programs, initiatives and investigations. Complies with all safety procedures.
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Participates in clean-up duties according to 5S standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read measurements, drawings and basic specifications.
  • Ability to receive and follow instructions and feedback from supervisors and other company personnel.
  • Basic math, fractions and measurements.
  • Comfortable performing manual labor without forklifts.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Stand and remain active for 8-hour shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, walking and gripping
  • Ability to perform sustained physical work at a consistent pace
  • Ability to wear required safety equipment for the full workday
