Job Title: Loader
Location: Client Site - Large Manufacturer
Pay Rate: $14.00/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking motivated Loaders to join our dynamic team at a prominent manufacturing facility. As a Loader, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and accurate material handling and storage, contributing to the overall operational success of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inbound Shipments: Unload, stage, and sign for all incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Warehouse Preparation: Prepare shipments for storage within the warehouse, maintaining an organized stock area.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with accounting to resolve any discrepancies related to invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
- Material Movement: Utilize various work devices, including conveyors, hand trucks, and forklifts, to move materials efficiently within the warehouse. Note: Prior forklift experience is required.
- Inventory Assistance: Participate in inventory assembly and special projects as needed, collaborating across warehouse departments.
- Quality Assurance Compliance: Adhere to all company regulations and quality assurance standards, promoting cleanliness and organization within the work area.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the readiness of distribution equipment such as pallet jacks and conveyor systems through regular cleaning, maintenance, and coordination of service when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse loading environment.
- Strong physical ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
- Forklift certification and experience are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
