We are looking for a Refuse Loader to join our depot in Richmond.
You will be covering a significant rural area with picturesque towns and villages.
No previous experience is required, and full training will be given.
The Role
Working in small crews you will be collecting residual, garden and food waste, as well as recyclable materials from domestic and commercial properties across the dedicated area of the county.
You will move bags, wheeled bins and boxes, using a lifting mechanism to tip the waste into the lorry. Health and safety are also critical to ensure your team and residents are safe, including supporting your driver to help navigate the streets of North Yorkshire safely.
This role has huge importance, as you will be on the front line of a key service in the Richmond locality.
As required, you may be asked to start early, and weekend working may also be required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Shifts are Tuesday to Friday, 06:15 - 16:15, Mondays and weekends may be required around holiday seasons and/or for training purposes.
