For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.comPOSITION SCOPE The Loader Operator is a heavy equipment operator who operates a wheel loader to load and transport material such as dirt, rocks, gravel, sand, and demolition debris. The loader operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the equipment, as well as maintaining and servicing the machine. The Loader Operator must be able to operate a loader according to project specifications. The individual will be responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment daily. This position does require travel near and around Queen Creek Arizona.PRIMARY DUTIES Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goalsAssist with setup and tear down of plantsPerform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisorGeneral housekeeping of equipment and plant daily or as directed by supervisor Individuals must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis The use of a shovel to move material will be necessaryPerform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policyPerform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup Night shift work requiredOvernight travel requiredPerform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSApplicants must be at least 18 years oldHigh School Diploma or EquivalentCompletion of a heavy equipment operator training program is preferredValid Driver's License and clean driving recordValid commercial driver's license preferredOSHA certification is preferredMust hold an M.S.H.A. 5000-23 certificate Part 48 Mining CertifiedAble to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications Team playerMechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenanceNight shift work and Travel will be requiredFisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are a drug-free work environment requiring pre-employment and random drug testing.
