Loader operator

**Front End Loader Operator – Heavy Equipment **

Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 4:45 AM–4:00 PM

Overtime: Available/required based on production needs

Weekends & Nights: As needed based on production demands

Position: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Front End Loader Operator / Heavy Equipment Operator to join a busy asphalt and aggregate production operation.

Previous heavy equipment experience is required. Candidates with construction, asphalt, aggregate, quarry, mining, road construction, or materials production experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a front-end wheel loader to move aggregate and raw materials
• Load and supply aggregate materials into bins and hoppers
• Move, build, and maintain organized material stockpiles
• Load and relocate materials throughout the plant
• Monitor aggregate materials for quality and report inconsistencies
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Fuel, clean, and inspect assigned equipment
• Monitor equipment for potential mechanical or safety concerns
• Communicate with plant operators, truck drivers, and other crew members
• Assist with general asphalt plant cleanup and housekeeping
• Support additional production and plant duties when needed
• Follow all OSHA, MSHA, PPE, and site safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous heavy equipment operating experience required
• 2+ years of related construction or industrial experience preferred
• Front-end loader or wheel loader experience strongly preferred
• Experience working around asphalt plants, aggregate operations, quarries, construction sites, mining operations, or similar industrial environments is a plus
• Knowledge of basic heavy equipment inspections and maintenance
• Ability to safely work around moving equipment, trucks, and machinery
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable attendance and ability to report to work early
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and occasional nights when production requires it
• Must be willing to travel or work away from home when required
