Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Loader / Shipping & Receiving Associate for a second-shift opportunity in Claremore. This position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, preparing shipments, verifying materials, completing shipping and receiving paperwork, coordinating dispatch activities, and operating forklifts.

This role requires previous shipping and receiving experience, strong forklift skills, and the ability to accurately manage paperwork and material movement with minimal supervision.

Candidates must also pass the required math assessment with a score of at least 80% and meet applicable background and drug-screen requirements.

• Previous shipping and receiving experience required
• Previous loading and unloading experience required

• Experience completing shipping and receiving paperwork

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Load outgoing trucks safely and accurately
• Unload incoming trucks
• Prepare materials and orders for shipment
• Verify materials before loading
• Confirm orders are loaded correctly
• Coordinate dispatch activities
• Help ensure shipments leave on schedule
• Complete shipping paperwork
• Complete receiving documentation
• Inspect materials for accuracy
• Compare materials against applicable paperwork
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Move and stage materials throughout shipping and receiving areas
• Support inventory movement
• Assist with material tracking
• Maintain accurate records
• Enter applicable information into computer systems
• Maintain organized loading and receiving areas
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Perform additional warehouse and shipping duties as assigned  

Loading & Unloading

Candidates will be responsible for:

• Loading trucks
• Unloading incoming materials
• Positioning materials safely
• Staging orders before shipment
• Verifying materials before loading
• Confirming correct products and quantities
• Helping ensure trucks are loaded accurately and on time
• Maintaining safe loading areas  

Shipping & Receiving

• Prepare outgoing shipments
• Verify shipment information
• Review materials against shipping documents
• Receive incoming products
• Inspect incoming materials and paperwork
• Identify discrepancies
• Complete applicable receiving records
• Maintain organized documentation
• Communicate shipping or receiving concerns promptly  

Dispatch Coordination

Candidates may regularly:

• Coordinate outgoing shipments
• Communicate applicable loading priorities
• Verify orders are ready for dispatch
• Ensure correct materials are loaded
• Monitor shipment timing
• Maintain applicable dispatch paperwork
• Help keep daily shipping operations organized and on schedule  

Forklift Operation

Strong forklift experience is required.

Candidates will use forklifts to:

• Load and unload trucks
• Move materials throughout the facility
• Stage outgoing shipments
• Position incoming materials
• Support inventory movement
• Maintain efficient material flow  

All equipment must be operated according to established safety procedures.

Inventory & Material Tracking

• Track material movement
• Maintain accurate material locations
• Support inventory updates
• Verify materials against records
• Assist with applicable inventory transactions
• Communicate discrepancies
• Maintain organized material areas  

Computer & Documentation Responsibilities

Candidates should be comfortable using:

• Email
• MRP systems
• Microsoft Excel
• Shipping and receiving documentation
• Electronic inventory or material records  

Accurate paperwork and recordkeeping are important responsibilities of this position.

Math Assessment Requirement

Candidates must achieve a score of at least 80% on the required math assessment.

Strong basic math skills are important for verifying quantities, materials, orders, and shipping information.

Screening Requirements

Candidates must meet the required pre-employment screening standards, including:

• Math assessment – minimum score of 80%
• Clean background required
• Drug screen – green status required

• Ability to repeatedly enter and exit forklift equipment as required
• Comfortable performing physically active warehouse work
• Ability to safely work around trucks, forklifts, and material-handling equipment
• Ability to wear all required PPE

• Warehouse, shipping, and receiving environment
• Regular work around trucks, forklifts, inventory, and material-handling equipment
• Combination of physical material handling, forklift operation, paperwork, and computer responsibilities
• Consistent Sunday–Thursday | 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM second-shift schedule
• Strong emphasis on shipment accuracy, safety, organization, independence, and dependable attendance
