An assemblers job is to put parts together to create a finished product. They use hand tools, machines, and blueprints to ensure that parts are aligned and fit correctly.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics • Use hand tools and machines to assemble parts • Position and align parts using hoists or manually • Maintain equipment and conveyors • Perform basic repairs • Inventory tools, parts, and supplies • Check products for quality and uniform completion • Resolve any identified problems and alert supervisor • Maintain logs, records, and reports • Collaborate with other employees on the assembly line
