Summary:
- Location: Sherman, TX
- 2nd Shift
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday : 2:30PM-11:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist paint line performance by hanging/removing parts and material from the load bar.
- Record pieces, hours, and load bar information on the computer.
- Carry and lift parts to hang or unhang off the painting production line.
- Perform visual inspections of material before and after painting.
- Engage in related assignments such as masking, wrapping, and touch-up painting.
- Maintain components and supplies required for efficient operation.
- Perform 5S and continuous improvement activities.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with powder painting.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs occasionally by stooping, reaching, and bending.
- Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools.
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and pay close attention to detail.
- Work as part of a team responsible for assembling an entire product or component of a product.
- Ability to reach, grasp, bend, and manipulate.
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.
