Loader/Unloader

Location: Sherman, TX
2nd Shift
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday : 2:30PM-11:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist paint line performance by hanging/removing parts and material from load bar.
• Record pieces, hours, and load bar information on the computer.
• Carry and lift parts to hang or unhang off the painting production line.
• Perform visual inspections of material before and after painting.
• Execute miscellaneous related assignments, such as masking, wrapping, and touch-up painting.
• Maintain components and supplies as required for efficient operation.
• Engage in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending.
• Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and pay close attention to detail.
• Work as part of a team responsible for assembling an entire product or component of a product.
• Ability to reach, grasp, bend, and manipulate.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with powder painting.
• Experience in a production environment.
