Pay Rate: $21.03/hour (paid weekly)
Start Date: October 26, 2026, pending onboarding completion
Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Loan Administrator to support commercial lending operations. This role is responsible for maintaining collateral records, processing loan servicing updates, managing ticklers, preparing loan documentation, resolving credit exceptions, and ensuring operational requirements are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate collateral records and process updates within servicing systems.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain ticklers to track documentation, collateral, and servicing requirements.
- Prepare, review, and process commercial loan documentation.
- Research, investigate, and resolve credit exceptions and documentation discrepancies.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of operational requirements.
- Perform data entry and system maintenance with a high degree of accuracy.
- Monitor loan files for completeness and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Identify potential operational risks and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Track outstanding requirements and follow through to obtain necessary documentation.
- Support process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in commercial banking, loan operations, loan servicing, or collateral management.
- Experience with loan servicing, loan administration, or related banking functions.
- Experience reviewing and preparing loan documentation.
- Experience managing ticklers and documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with commercial lending terminology and loan documentation.
- Experience researching and resolving credit exceptions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong data entry and system navigation skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to identify and mitigate operational risk.
- Knowledge of LIQ or similar loan servicing systems preferred.
