About the role
The Loan Administrator provides administrative support to loan officers. This role is responsible for performing general record keeping and clerical functions. This position is responsible for handling loan documentation related to Commercial, Agricultural, and Consumer loans.
This position is located in Rapid City, SD. This position is performed in the branch.
What you will do
- Reviews and processes loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all required documentation.
- Prepares and maintains loan documentation, including promissory notes, security agreements, and collateral documents.
- Verifies insurance requirements are correct and up-to-date.
- Ensures that all documents are properly executed and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Monitors and tracks loan files to ensure they are up to date with relevant information, commercial loan covenants, and compliance requirements.
- Maintains the file monitoring system (Tickler Reports).
- Assists in the preparation of loan disbursements and payments, maintaining accurate records throughout the loan cycle.
- Maintains open and clear communication with customers, providing assistance and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborates with lending officers, credit analysts, and other departments to facilitate the loan origination and servicing processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will need
- Associate’s degree or greater in related field preferred.
- 2+ years banking or related experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Fiserv Premier Banking System, or other banking systems a plus.
- Strong attention to detail required.
