Job Location: Charlotte, NC or Pittsburgh, PA (On-Site)

Job Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $48-51,000 (annually) with an employee benefits package and possible bonus opportunity.

General Job Description: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Closer to coordinate the closing process from clear-to-close through funding, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of closing documentation while maintaining compliance with regulatory and investor requirements. This role partners closely with Processors, Loan Officers, Title Companies, and other internal stakeholders to manage closing schedules, prepare and deliver Closing Disclosures, resolve last-minute changes, and ensure every transaction closes on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and is committed to delivering high accuracy and customer service.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of mortgage closing, mortgage processing, title, or related mortgage operations experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Closing Disclosures, RESPA/TRID requirements, mortgage closing documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume pipeline while balancing multiple priorities and meeting critical closing deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail with experience reviewing loan files, resolving documentation discrepancies, and maintaining quality and audit standards.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with Loan Officers, Processors, Title Companies, and internal business partners.
  • Highly organized, customer-focused professional with strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and the ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
