Specific primary responsibilities are:

Coordinate the preparation of new and renewed loan documentation following BLUSA standards on approved minutes

Stakeholder management and ensuring legal counsel, Relationship Manager and Operations are all completely aligned for timely, compliant loan closings

Order tax service and flood certificates on all real estate loans. Track property tax delinquencies

Transmits prepared loan document packages to the lenders and BLUSA Loan Operations

Translate all critical aspects of the loan documents into workflow tool to be interpreted and booked by Loan Operations

Coordinate with co-lenders or other participant banks, including all pre-closing Agent Bank responsibilities

Build a deal pipeline and tightly manage deal closing dates and all critical data points

Upon receipt of signed documents, send original recordable to title company for recording

Upload all documents using proper indexing rules to the Banks central document repository

Perform UCC search from Secretary of State to identify prior liens

File UCC on commercial loans with Secretary of State

Manages and verifies that all vendor bills are paid promptly

Manages and verifies the accuracy of all exception tracking systems and reports.

Balance good-faith deposit accounts, monitoring aging of cash breaks, reconcile suspense accounts

File original loan documents in appropriate files within secure vault

Review UCC 1 filing for termination or continuation

Works closely with loan collateral manager and lenders to ensure proper documentation is received and recorded.

Address inquiries on a timely basis from internal and external counsel.

Analyze loan documents for pre-payment penalties, unused fees, participant or co lender details and other covenants

Coordinate with Relationship Manager, underwriting and centralized credit unit to ensure the proper documentation levels are received and to alert them to any deficiencies or irregularities

Drive positive change in the overall Operations organization, collaborating across all possible departments to improve processes




Secondary Responsibilities:

Other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to the Loan Documentation Specialist are:

Provides back up support for other team or group positions within the Loan Operations Team

Coordinates with escrow, title, outside counsel, and others to facilitate processing and closings

Monitors and assists in developing enhanced systems and procedures training for staff.

Willingly participates in all assigned duties and responsibilities

Collect al leases, rent rolls, purchase contracts and 1031 Exchange Agreements on Real Estate deals
