Position: Loan Officer – Business Purpose & Consumer Lending
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid/In-Office)

Compensation: $60,000 base + per-loan commission (expected $120K–$150K+)
Vaco is partnering with a rapidly growing mortgage lender that’s expanding its team in Jacksonville. This opportunity is ideal for loan officers who thrive in a high-energy, lead-driven environment and want to build a strong production track record with both business purpose and consumer loans.
This in office role offers steady inbound leads, competitive pay, and the chance to grow within an ambitious, well-capitalized organization. There is an opportunity for hybrid.
Manage a high volume of inbound and warm leads to generate new loans — no cold calling required.
Conduct 30–100+ calls per day, qualifying borrowers and guiding them through the loan process.
Originate a mix of business purpose (DSCR, fix & flip, rental, construction) and traditional consumer mortgages.
Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of applicants, ensuring timely submission and closing.
Collaborate closely with processing, underwriting, and operations teams to maintain efficiency and service quality.
Deliver an outstanding borrower experience while meeting or exceeding monthly performance goals.
Base Salary: $60,000
Commission:
$1,000 per closed loan (company-provided leads)
$1,500 per closed loan (self-sourced)
Paid per unit, not loan size
Total Expected Earnings: $120K–$150K+ for strong performers
2+ years of recent experience in mortgage sales or lending, preferably in a high-volume call-center or lead-based environment.
Working knowledge of DSCR, non-QM, fix & flip, and investor-focused products strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and time management skills; comfort handling multiple platforms and CRM tools.
Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented — able to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment.
Must be located in or near Jacksonville, FL and available to work 3–4 days per week in-office.
