JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

The Loan Onboarding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the loan boarding process within the bank, ensuring accurate and timely entry of loan data into the bank's core system. Key responsibilities include leading and developing a team of loan boarding specialists, contributing to the development of operational strategic goals, ongoing compliance with all banking regulations, enhancing operational efficiency and is the primary point of contact for loan boarding working with lending officers to solve complex loan servicing issues that arise.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the accurate and timely input of loan data by ensuring files are complete and in accordance with compliance regulations. Routinely conducts internal audits to ensure adherence to bank policies/procedures.
  • Works closely with underwriting, operations, and lenders to resolve issues and to facilitate a seamless loan boarding process.
  • Lead the loan boarding team to ensure processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Routinely prepares reports for submission to senior management and external agencies.
  • Assist with audit and exam requests as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with lenders, bank leadership team and other external stakeholders.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Provides guidance and oversight to and is responsible for the coordination and evaluation of the assigned team. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management; employee compensation; approving expense reports; addressing concerns and resolving problems.

Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 3+ years proven experience in banking or comparable professional experience
  • 1+ years demonstrated leadership experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Associates and/or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field
  • Intermediate knowledge of loan products, banking regulations, legal compliance, and industry standards desired.
  • Leadership and team management experience with increasing responsibility
