LOAN PORTFOLIO ASSISTANT

LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX | 100% Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $33.65/hour
• Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
• 12–18 month assignment with potential for a full-time opportunity

ROLE IMPACT

The Loan Portfolio Assistant provides high-level support within a commercial lending environment, helping manage complex loan portfolios from documentation through renewals. This position is ideal for an experienced loan professional who can work independently, interpret financial information, ensure compliance with lending policies, and serve as a knowledgeable resource to team members and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the administration and ongoing management of commercial loan portfolios.
• Prepare, review, and maintain commercial loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with loan renewals, modifications, and ongoing portfolio maintenance.
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation related to commercial lending decisions.
• Ensure loan documentation and transactions comply with established credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate documentation and coordinate necessary corrections.
• Monitor loan files, documentation requirements, deadlines, and outstanding items.
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal lending partners regarding loan documentation and portfolio needs.
• Support underwriting activities by gathering, reviewing, and organizing financial and credit-related information.
• Research and resolve complex loan documentation or servicing issues.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Work independently while serving as a knowledgeable peer resource and subject matter expert for the team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of loan or lending experience.
• Strong knowledge of loan documentation, credit policies, and compliance requirements.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting financial statements.
• Experience supporting loan renewals and ongoing portfolio management.
• Strong written and verbal client communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Commercial lending experience strongly preferred.
• Commercial loan documentation experience.
• Experience supporting underwriting and credit review processes.
• Previous experience managing or supporting a commercial loan portfolio.
• Ability to serve as a subject matter expert or resource to other team members.
