Wealthfront is seeking a mortgage loan post closer to join our team as we build and scale our mortgage lending operations. As a key player on the team, you will leverage your expertise to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in the final stages of the loan process. You will review, finalize, and submit loan files ensuring seamless investor delivery and regulatory adherence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a cutting-edge team in a rapidly growing environment.

Responsibilities ----------------

• Manage investor delivery pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. • Ensure all final documentation, collateral, and loan data aligns with investor and regulatory requirements. • Ensure all loan documents are property recorded and shipped to investors in a timely manner. • Oversee investor loan purchases and resolve deficiencies. • Work closely with compliance and legal to monitor regulatory changes impacting loan sales. • Participate in loan sale reconciliations and investor reporting. • Ensure accurate recording of mortgage notes, deeds, and title policies. • Owns compilation, consolidation, and reporting of all QC review and investor condition findings. • Work with internal and external teams to correct errors in closed loan packages and/or resolve investor conditions prior to loan sale. • Collaborate with processing, origination, and closing departments. • Perform internal file audits, provide loan level feedback, and consolidated reporting. • Evaluate and document general quality of loans originated by the company by conducting an analysis of investor feedback and audit results. • Proactively maintain loan pipeline, tasks, and objectives. • Adopts Company values in work behaviors, decision making, contributions, and interpersonal interactions. • Contributes to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance, accountability, diversity, and inclusion, flexibility, continuous development, collaboration, creativity, and fun.

Requirements ------------

• Customer-focused, business-centric, and team-oriented mindset; relentlessly passionate about finding and completing valuable work. • Strong understanding of required loan file documentation, funding requirements, investor, and regulatory guidelines. • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Excellent organizational skills, able to set and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence positive outcomes at all levels of an organization. • Intellectually curious and interested in applying technology to enhance business processes. • Prior experience in retail mortgage loan post-closing. • Excellent communication skills focusing on both internal and external communications. • Openness to adapting to industry changes.
