Loan Processor/Customer Service

Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves supporting business operations within the syndicated lending environment, focusing on both loan processing and customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting and be eager to learn and grow with us.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• 4 years of relevant experience in loans, trading, syndication, or underwriting, or equivalent education such as a degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or marketing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle account numbers, rates, and dates accurately.
• Proficiency in Excel, including handling reconciliations and performing manual and formula-based math.
• Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Experience with loan processing related to syndicated lending, underwriting, and knowledge of conventional, commercial, and government loans.
• Familiarity with Loan IQ or similar tools such as AFS, ACDS, Flexcube, or Flexpay.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Process trades and communicate with lenders and borrowers effectively.
• Apply interest and principal payments, reprice loans, and perform reconciliations.
• Review documentation and ensure accuracy before sending trades for approval.
• Provide support on escalated questions and interact with client personnel.
• Proactively provide feedback and present ideas for process improvements.
