What You'll Do:

• Process loan applications and supporting documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Review loan files to ensure information and required documents are complete and accurate.
• Collect borrower, collateral, title, insurance, and other documentation needed throughout the lending process.
• Prepare, review, and organize loan documentation for closing.
• Maintain accurate loan information within banking and loan processing systems.
• Partner with lenders, customers, title companies, insurance providers, and other third parties to keep transactions moving forward.
• Track outstanding documentation and proactively follow up on missing or incomplete items.
• Assist with loan closings, post-closing documentation, and ongoing file maintenance.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and complete loan files.
• Follow established banking policies, procedures, lending guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.


What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Loan Processor, Loan Administrator, Lending Assistant, or in a similar lending support position.
• Banking or credit union experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of the lending process and common loan documentation requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify missing or inconsistent information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication and dependable follow-up skills.
• Experience coordinating with lenders, borrowers, customers, and outside service providers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn banking and loan processing software.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of loan files from application through closing.
