Scope of Job:
This position is responsible for loan information entered and activated onto the BankWest mainframe system. Perform maintenance on all existing loan types on a daily basis. Develop a thorough understanding of the loan boarding requirements and mainframe system to work with associates to ensure various loan type requirements are understood and accurate. Effectively manage completing tasks and deadlines timely in a fast-paced environment. Provide information and assistance to authorized bank associates. Maintain high level of customer confidentiality.
Primary Duties:
Verify the accuracy of information entered and activate newly funded loans on the BankWest mainframe system. Ensure the accuracy of data entry and compliance with regulatory and system requirements.
Complete all loan maintenance requests for existing loan customers in accordance with daily deadlines. Check closely the correctness of work done by others and identify differences between similar items.
Respond quickly and positively to inquiries or requests for assistance regarding input requirements for the mainframe, payment processing, operational and regulatory items. Assist with research and trouble-shooting. Develop solutions for unique loan or maintenance requests and know how the mainframe systems operates.
Provide support in the contact and collection of third party provider insurance documents for loans made with CL, A&H, GAP, and Warranty. Assist with contacting branch personnel for missing documentation as needed.
Assist with payment processing for various loan types.
Serve as back up to dual control reconciler for BankWest escrow accounts by performing various duties in the processing of customer funds held in escrow for taxes and insurance.
May work with the Loan Servicing Manager to maintain Lereta reporting and provide information for the Real Estate Exception Report.
Secondary Duties:
Work as a team with departmental counterparts on planning and implementing assigned projects and products.
Participate on various committees and project teams as deemed appropriate by management.
Attend and actively participate in training offered.
Adhere to all applicable Policies and Procedures of BankWest organization.
Community involvement is strongly encouraged.

Requirements
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
1 years' experience in related field.
Knowledge and Special Skills:
Strong computer aptitude and typing skills.
Ability to work dependently and/or independently, under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust work schedules as needed to complete job responsibilities.
Ability to organize and handle multiple responsibilities while delivering quality external and/or internal Customer Service.
Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with external and/or internal customers.
Knowledge or ability to learn regulatory requirements pertinent to performance of specified duties in job description.
Knowledge of banking terminology and procedures.
Ability to skillfully use a variety of application software, learn computer programs, and comprehend the program output.
Adhere to Federal Privacy Standards in addition to following BankWest requirements for electronic communication and Social Engineering standards.
