Loan Processor I / II / III

About the Role
We are seeking detail-oriented Loan Processors to join a growing banking and lending operations team. In this role, you will prepare and process a variety of consumer, mortgage, home equity, construction, and other loan documents while ensuring compliance with all applicable banking regulations and internal lending guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have experience in loan processing, loan documentation, mortgage operations, or consumer lending and possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with lenders, underwriters, relationship managers, and third-party closing professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare loan documentation for consumer, mortgage, home equity, construction, secured, and unsecured loans using bank-provided software
Ensure loan documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with approved credit terms
Prepare Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures for real estate transactions
Coordinate with relationship managers, underwriters, attorneys, title companies, and closing agents throughout the loan process
Maintain and update loan pipeline activity and status
Review loan files for compliance with lending regulations and internal policies
Prepare loan files for booking and post-closing review, including document imaging and retention requirements
Respond to inquiries from lenders, Branch personnel, and third parties in a professional and timely manner
Assist with process improvements and updates to policies and procedures
Monitor adherence to consumer lending regulations, including TRID, HMDA, and Flood requirements
Collaborate with team members to resolve complex or unique lending situations
Participate in meetings, training, special projects, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Loan Processor I
0-2 years of financial services, banking, or loan operations experience
Foundational knowledge of consumer lending regulations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Loan Processor II
2-5 years of loan processing or loan documentation experience
Working knowledge of consumer, mortgage, and construction lending
Experience with TRID, HMDA, Flood, and consumer lending regulations
Loan Processor III
5+ years of progressive loan processing, documentation, or loan operations experience
Advanced knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements
Experience handling complex real estate, construction, and consumer loan transactions
Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads and mentor less experienced team members
Required Experience
Experience within a financial services or banking environment
Mortgage and/or construction loan processing and documentation experience preferred
Consumer loan processing experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate Degree preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of loan processing procedures and consumer lending regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and manage competing responsibilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking software systems
Capable of responding effectively to changing priorities and unexpected situations

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
