LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a Loan Processor for a contract-to-hire, in office opportunity near Williamsburg, VA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Contract Pay is based on experience, around $25 to $30 an hour

About the Role

Help prepare accurate, timely loan documentation for a variety of consumer and real estate lending products. This position supports relationship managers, attorneys, underwriters, and closing partners to ensure smooth processing from documentation through post-closing.

What Youll Do

Prepare loan documents for real estate and non-real estate loans, including mortgages, home equity loans, construction loans, and consumer loans

Create and review Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures for real estate loan packages

Partner with internal teams and third parties to gather information and ensure complete, accurate loan files

Update pipeline activity, monitor loan documentation, and maintain compliance with lending regulations

Prepare files for post-closing, booking, and document imaging

Respond professionally to inquiries from Branches, lenders, and third parties

Assist with process improvements, checklist updates, and special projects as needed

What Were Looking For

2+ years of loan processing, loan documentation, or loan operations experience preferred

Experience with mortgage and/or construction loan processing strongly preferred

Knowledge of TRID, HMDA, Flood, and consumer lending regulations

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and computer skills

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
