In this role, you’ll engage with members over the phone, guiding them through the lending process from application to closing while identifying opportunities to enhance their financial well-being. What You’ll Do
- Promote and sell credit union loan products and services with a strong focus on closing deals
- Handle inbound and outbound loan applications with confidence and efficiency
- Identify member needs and recommend personalized financial solutions
- Navigate objections with professionalism and persuasive communication
- Manage the full lending lifecycle—from application to funding
- Build strong relationships with members by delivering a “Raving Fans” service experience
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales and funding goals to maximize commission earnings
- Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all loan processing activities
- Stay current on lending policies, regulations, and product offerings
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve shared success and support department goals
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of lending experience (2+ years preferred)
- Experience in a sales-driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive, confident approach
- Proven ability to meet goals and thrive under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and lending software
- Typing speed of 40 WPM or higher
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and outstanding member service
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Some college coursework preferred
- Knowledge of lending practices, underwriting, credit reports, and relevant regulations strongly preferred

- Primarily seated or desk-based work with occasional standing or walking
