About the Role:

As an Insurance Analyst, you will perform various tasks within the insurance team. Manage insurance compliance reviews for Agency, institutional, private client and high-profile borrowers as required. Manage flood determination process, force placed insurance and insurance claims as required.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct analysis of Commercial Insurance to ensure compliance with Lender requirements.
  • Communicate and provide support in assessing risk between Lender and Borrower needs.
  • Review Loan Closing Documents for insurance compliance at loan level.
  • Collaborate with Insurer and Borrower to address deficiencies or missing coverage.
  • Work with Loan Servicing team to resolve insurance related issues.
  • Obtain insurance renewal documents and invoices from relevant parties.
  • Utilize CBRE proprietary client systems to review insurance data and run reports.
  • Assist in gathering insurance documentation for audits.
  • Uphold CBRE RISE values and demonstrate excellence in work quality.
  • Adhere to standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Facilitate effective information exchange and mutual understanding within the team.

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with a minimum of 3 years related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
  • Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
