If our mission statement piques your interest, we encourage you to apply for the currently open position of Loan Servicing Processor II to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, at our Ogden Branch located at 2605 Washinton Blvd, UT. This Loan Servicing Processor II maintains general knowledge and background and performs many of the same functions as Loan Servicing Processor I, however, Level II requires more expertise for all the various functions in the Loan Servicing Department. Provides customer service and servicing for commercial loan customers, commercial construction loan customers, and SBA loan customers. Serves as a resource to all Loan Officers and Loan Assistants. Books all loan types (SBA, Construction, Commercial, Letters of Credit, Master Notes, Leases, Bonds, etc.) to the DNA system. Completes file maintenance and services Commercial Construction Loans and escrows in the draw process. Processes loan payments. This position is responsible to back up the manager in all functions. Qualifications: - High School Education
- Basic Computer Skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Must be able to work at a high level of productivity with little supervision
- Good understanding of Debits and Credits
- Good understanding of Loan Payment Streams and documentation
- Must have 1 year experience as Loan Servicing Processor I or equivalent outside experience
Regular Duties and Responsibilities - Has more defined skills and expertise in Booking and verifying of all Loan types (SBA, Construction, Commercial, Letters of Credit, Master Notes, Leases, Bonds, Loan Participations (serviced and sold), etc.) to DNA.
- Completes file maintenance and Status Changes as requested on DNA.
- Set up commercial construction loans in Construct.
- Perform all duties of the draw process for Commercial Construction draws and escrow releases on the Construct system ensuring that the draw meets all the general policies and guidelines in order to process and complete the draw request. Responsibility is split into two separate duties:
- Person 1: verifies W-9 information on all vendors, verifies invoices, monitors loan inspections ensuring work is complete, monitors line items, issues payment of checks, and remote prints checks.
- Verifier: verifies the check amounts, the vendor paid, the correct invoices and addresses and that the draw balances between DNA and Construct.
- Maintain escrow report to keep track of all third-party escrow agreements.
- Provides customer service to both commercial and construction loan customers. Answering questions regarding payments and draws.
- Performs various GL reconciliations as assigned by manager.
- Reconciles loan billing statements with print vendor to ensure statements are being mailed and/or held as needed.
- Process interest reserve payments on commercial construction and development loans.
- Provides backup in clearing Loan Non-Post items.
- Assists with investor reporting to GuideHouse, USDA, Farmer Mac, and all other miscellaneous bank participations. Remitting payments and requesting funds when loans appear on reports
- Monitors the Note Exception Report clearing items daily as necessary.
- Quotes and processes payoffs for sold SBA 7A loans.
- Process loan payments.
- Responsible to seek out and complete training courses that are relevant to the job description, that will help improve knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Attendance is an essential function of the job.
