Loan Servicing SpecialistRequired Education: High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Qualifications/Skills/Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking, finance, or accountingStrong data entry and typing skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesStrong time management skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow established proceduresStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, vendors, and external partnersAbility to work independently under limited supervisionAbility to research and resolve loan-related issues and discrepanciesAbility to maintain accurate and compliant recordsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple servicing requestsPreferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:Accounting experienceKnowledge of commercial loan and lease structuresExperience with loan servicing, post-booking activities, transfers, assumptions, rewrites, or contract unwinds preferredExperience working with customers, vendors, legal, compliance, credit, documentation, sales, or funding teams preferredLoan Servicing Specialist Overview:The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for a broad range of pre- and post-booking activities related to commercial loan and lease servicing. The role ensures the accuracy and compliance of account changes while managing customer and vendor interactions and supporting post-closing activities, including rewrites, transfers, assumptions, contract unwinds, customer verifications, stipulation clearance, and site inspections. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and the ability to research and resolve complex loan-related issues while following established policies and regulatory requirements.Job Duties:Review loan and lease documentation for accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Communicate with sales, credit, documentation, and funding teams to clarify or resolve conditions related to rewrite approvals.Coordinate with legal and compliance teams regarding redress or regulatory changes associated with rewrite transactions.Manage transfer and assumption requests, including collecting required documentation, verifying transferee credentials, and processing ownership changes.Manage full and partial contract unwinds, including refunds, invoice reversals, and system documentation.Conduct outbound customer calls to complete verification and ensure proper authentication.Document verification results in the loan servicing system in accordance with compliance requirements.Request and monitor site inspections through approved vendors or internal resources.Track inspection status and follow up on outstanding reports supporting titling, funding, or credit decisions.Review and clear open stipulations on booked transactions in coordination with internal departments.Respond to post-booking servicing requests from customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Assist with redress activities when required by legal, compliance, or internal audit.Maintain complete and compliant records of all post-booking activities.Escalate discrepancies, exceptions, and complex issues to management when appropriate.Research and resolve complex loan-related issues, including missing payments, disputed account histories, and general loan inquiries.Work with limited supervision while following established guidelines and procedures.Track working hours and remain eligible for overtime for hours worked over 40 hours per week under applicable FLSA requirements.**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
