Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Loan Processing Specialist to join our team. The role is centered on the initial phases of the loan cycle, focusing primarily on residential mortgages within a dynamic, startup-like environment in our established banking institution. This position is contract-to-hire, with the intent to offer permanent placement based on performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Placing and managing initial title and appraisal orders through Empower and external vendor systems.
- Efficiently managing daily tasks to meet specific volume targets including 8–10 title orders and 6–8 appraisal orders per day.
- Maintaining accurate pipeline management to ensure smooth loan processing.
- Facilitating internal communications with loan officers and processors to address issues or clarify information.
- Supporting the team in various loan processing tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy in documentation.
Must-Have Skills:- Experience with Loan Origination Systems, specifically Empower is a plus.
- Strong adaptability and proactive communication skills.
- Solid background in residential mortgage processing.
Industry Experience:
Strictly Residential Mortgage Industry with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Commercial or credit card lending experience does not apply.
