Lobby Receptionist / Badging Assistant Support

As a Security Officer Reception Security in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming presence at a busy logistics and distribution location, helping to monitor access, greet visitors, manage sign-ins, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and be part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor check-in activities, and/or emergency response support when appropriate.
• Monitor lobby and reception area activity, verify identification and access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site protocols.
• Support daily operations at a busy logistics and distribution location by documenting arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other front desk activity with attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Have a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
