| Job Description | Serve as the primary local point of contact for the City of Charlottesville's Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) staffing contract and maintain effective communication with the client. Coordinate staffing requests for temporary, temporary-to-hire, and direct placement positions and work closely with internal recruiting teams to ensure timely candidate submissions. Review candidate qualifications and submissions to ensure they meet the requirements provided by CAT before presenting them to the client. Coordinate interviews, onboarding activities, and other hiring-related processes while providing regular status updates to the client and internal stakeholders. Support staffing for positions including transit technicians, transit inventory specialists, maintenance workers, bus operators/drivers, and administrative or clerical staff as requested by CAT. Coordinate candidate screening, background investigations, drug and alcohol testing, payroll administration, and workforce management activities as applicable under the contract. Maintain accurate documentation, track staffing requests and candidate progress, and ensure responsive support throughout the recruitment and assignment lifecycle. Collaborate with CAT and internal teams to help fulfill staffing requests in accordance with the contract requirements and established response timeframes. | ||||||||
