Location: Newburgh, New York
About the Position
We are seeking a dependable Class A Local Delivery Driver for a dedicated Sunday through Thursday route originating in Newburgh, New York. The driver will deliver automotive parts throughout New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts before returning to Newburgh.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $346 per day
- Weekly Pay: $1,790 per week
- Schedule: Sunday through Thursday
- Shift Start: 8:00 p.m.
- Hours: 10–12-hour days
Job Details
- Route Type: Local delivery route
- Freight: Automotive parts
- Equipment: 48-foot trailer
- Handling: 100% driver unload; touch position
- Route: Newburgh, New York, to Providence and Needham, Rhode Island, and Boston, Massachusetts, with a return to Newburgh
- Number of stops may vary by route
- Unloading locations may provide assistance
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle and 48-foot trailer
- Complete scheduled deliveries of automotive parts
- Manually unload freight at delivery locations
- Follow assigned routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Conduct required vehicle inspections and report equipment issues
- Provide professional and courteous service at customer locations
Minimum Requirements
- 6-12+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
