About the Position

We are currently seeking a CDL A Driver for a local position in Hammond, Louisiana. This role offers a competitive pay structure and the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, with a rare Saturday shift. The driver will be responsible for transporting shuttles and general freight/dry goods.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $200 per day base
• Additional Compensation: $7.50 per stop, $0.0015 per pound, $0.18 per mile
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, with a rare Saturday
• Start Time: TBD based on shift needs

Job Details

• Route Type: Local, Home Daily
• Freight / Load Type: Shuttles, General Freight/Dry Goods
• Equipment: 48 FT Trailer
• Minimum Experience Required: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Transport freight safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL 
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
