About the Position

TransForce is seeking a professional CDL A Driver for a local driving opportunity supporting our client’s operations in Knoxville. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, steady hourly pay, benefits, and the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $24 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Temp to Perm
• Work setting: On-site

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Freight/load type: Sewage
• Equipment: Septic truck and 53-foot equipment
• Handling: Light touch
• Willingness to obtain tanker qualifications is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment on local routes.
• Transport sewage in accordance with DOT and applicable safety standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
• Meet the physical demands of the role as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A license.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
