with it. No touch freight, home every night, dedicated grocery

work out of Opelika running to Atlanta, Birmingham and south

Georgia. 6 seats open, three on the Alabama side and three on

the Georgia side.

THE POSITION

- Freight: dedicated grocery

- Runs to Atlanta, Birmingham and south Georgia

- Live load, live unload, drop and hook

- Backhauls

- NO TOUCH freight

- Slip seat operation — no assigned truck

- Day shift and night shift both open

- Solo only (no team seats on this account)

PAY

Two schedule options on this account, and you pick the one that

fits your life:

FIVE-DAY SCHEDULE

- $800 to $1,200 per week

- $10.00 stop pay on all stops

- Approx. 1,200 miles per week

SIX-DAY SCHEDULE

- $1,300 to $1,550 per week

- $10.00 for your first stop, $15.00 every stop after

- Approx. 1,800 miles per week

BOTH SCHEDULES

- $40.00 short haul pay on loads under 51 miles

- Weekly pay

HOME TIME

- HOME DAILY

- Hiring on both sides of the state line — the radius covers the

Auburn and Opelika area and reaches into west Georgia

operation, so you will not have an assigned truck — you take what

is ready when you come on shift. Wait time at the stores is part

of this job; you will sit some days, and the backhauls add to

that, so if sitting makes you crazy this account will test you.

Weekends are required and holidays get worked. And be straight

with yourself about the five-day schedule: it pays $800 to $1,200,

and that $800 floor is a real number, not a formality. If you need

to be at the top end every week, the six-day schedule is where the

money actually is. In exchange: you never touch the freight, you

are home every single night, you get short haul pay on top for the

quick runs, and you get something almost no dedicated account

offers — a real choice about whether you work five days or six.

ORIENTATION

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

AGE & LICENSE

- 21 years or older

- Valid Class A CDL

- Must have held a U.S. driver's license the last 12 consecutive months

- Current DOT medical card (new DOT physical required at hire)

- No endorsements required for this position

EXPERIENCE — one of the following

- 6 months OTR experience within the last 12 months, OR

- 12 months OTR experience within the last 5 years

DRIVING RECORD

- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

- No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months

- Speeding 30+ MPH over = automatic disqualification for 3 years

- Original ticket copies required for all citations in the last 3 years

ACCIDENTS

- No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the last 2 years

- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

- No more than 3 preventable incidents in the last 2 years

- Preventable rear-end accident = 1 year disqualification

- Accident reports required for ALL accidents in the last 5 years

WORK HISTORY

- No more than 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months

- No more than 1 safety-related termination in the last 5 years

DUI / DWI

- No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle — ever

- No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years while holding a CDL or CLP

- No DUI/DWI in the 5 years before obtaining your CDL or CLP

- No multiple DUI/DWIs

DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING

- No failed or refused drug tests — no exceptions

- Hair AND urine testing required, both must be passed

- No drug-related convictions in the last 5 years

CRIMINAL HISTORY

- Violence, theft, drug, and sex-related offenses reviewed individually
