About the Position
We are seeking a Local CDL A Driver for local deliveries to grocery stores throughout Ohio. This home-daily position offers no-touch freight, automatic transmission equipment, and the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $30 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
- Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Length: 8 to 10 hours per day
- Four different shift start times are available
- Home daily
- Employment type: Temp to Perm
Job Details
- Route Type: Local delivery
- Freight: Bakery goods, milk, dry goods, and general grocery products
- Equipment: Automatic day cabs, reefer trailers, and dry vans
- Handling: No-touch freight, including drop-and-hook and live unloads
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and grocery products to local stores throughout Ohio
- Safely operate automatic-transmission day cabs, reefer trailers, and dry vans
- Complete drop-and-hook and live-unload deliveries
- Perform slip-seat operations as required
- Maintain compliance with applicable transportation regulations and safety standards
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Valid CDL A
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
