Local CDL A Logistics Driver — Plant-to-Warehouse Transfers

If you thrive on precision, safety, and teamwork, this role puts you at the center of our Chelmsford operation—connecting the production plant and warehouse with timely, accurate shuttles.

Snapshot

• Pay: $35.00+/hr, paid bi-weekly (based on experience)
• Hours: 10:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday
• Extras: Some weekend shifts and overtime as business needs arise
• Route: Local transfers between our Chelmsford production plant and satellite warehouse

What you’ll do

• Champion safety: follow policies, wear PPE, and keep situational awareness high.
• Keep the floor orderly—clean, organized, and audit-ready.
• Load/unload trailers and move product within production and warehouse zones.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks after company-provided training/certification.
• Capture inventory movements with accuracy and complete clear documentation.
• Collaborate to hit production and shipping deadlines.
• Escalate issues: report damaged goods, mislabels, or inventory discrepancies.
• Follow all Food Safety and Food Defense policies and practices.
• Finish monthly safety training—computer-based and classroom sessions.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.

What you’ll bring

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with current medical certificate.
• Effective communication in English and/or Spanish, written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Solid basic math skills.
• Attention to detail; strong hand–eye coordination.
• Overtime flexibility.
• Nice to have: experience with inventory management systems.

Physical & work conditions

• Active role: walk/stand/lift up to 90% of the shift.
• Capable of bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Manufacturing/warehouse environment with seasonal temperature changes and operational noise.

Required proficiencies

• Driver's License
• Forklift Licensed
• Current CDL License
