About the Position
Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver for store deliveries throughout South Carolina and North Carolina. This dedicated opportunity offers home-daily routes, no-touch freight, and consistent support from the TransForce team.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $0.58 per mile
- Additional mileage and stop pay
- Home daily
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- 10- to 11-hour shifts
- Dispatch time: 1:00 a.m.
- Weekend and part-time opportunity
Job Details
- Route type: Local delivery
- Delivery area: Stores throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, including Wilmington, Charleston, and Raleigh
- Freight: No-touch freight
- Handling: Primarily drop-and-hook with occasional live unloads
- Equipment: Automatic day cab trucks, including Freightliner and Volvo models
- Employment type: Dedicated
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL A truck on local delivery routes
- Deliver freight to stores throughout South Carolina and North Carolina
- Complete drop-and-hook operations and occasional live unloads
- Operate automatic day cab equipment
- Follow all applicable transportation laws and safety procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
