Local CDL-A Truck Driver - Home Daily - HIGH PAY

Pay & Earnings

• Base Rate: $0.75 per mile (includes $0.10/mile performance pay)
• Weekly Earnings: Average 1,900–2,000 miles/week (Top 25% earn $2,000/week or $104,000/year)
• Stop Pay: $20 per stop
• Unload Pay: $35 per pallet jack unload (hand unloads receive additional pay)
• Bonuses: $1,500 Sign-on Bonus + $500 Paid Orientation

Schedule & Home Time

• Home Time: Home most nights (occasional 10-hour reset on the road)
• Stops: Multi-stop retail freight (averages 3–4 stops per load)

Route & Equipment

• Operating Area: Regional deliveries across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana
• Freight Type: Dedicated dry van for a major non-grocery retail chain
• Unloading: Touch freight utilizing liftgate trailers and pallet jacks (occasional hand unloads)

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Must reside within 50 miles of Chicago, IL
