About the Position
Our client is seeking a dependable CDL B Truck Driver to support local delivery operations in Palm, PA. This position offers steady, home-daily work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $25 per hour plus overtime
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start time: Between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
- Shift length: 8 to 10 hours
- Driving schedule: Four guaranteed driving days per week, with one day of warehouse work
- Hours per week: 40
- Schedule type: Home daily
Job Details
- Route type: Local delivery
- Freight: Automotive oil and grease
- Equipment: Automatic-transmission trucks equipped with liftgates
- Freight handling: Heavy touch freight using a pallet jack and dolly for unloading
- Tanker endorsement: Helpful but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL B equipment on local routes
- Transport automotive oil and grease in accordance with DOT and safety standards
- Perform freight handling tasks using a pallet jack and dolly
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Perform warehouse work as scheduled
- Meet the physical demands of the position
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Air Brake endorsement required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
