Local CDL Class A Driver

The Local CDL Class A Driver will handle day trips on local routes, operating vehicles safely and efficiently while working independently. This role emphasizes strict adherence to safety standards, accurate documentation via manual logs, and maintaining excellent customer interactions. The driver returns home daily and is expected to have experience with side dump equipment and a strong focus on vehicle inspection and upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A vehicles on local routes ensuring timely deliveries
• Navigate assigned routes with a focus on efficiency and safety
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain compliance with all safety and DOT regulations
• Manage manual driving logs accurately
• Handle and secure cargo properly for transport
• Perform routine equipment maintenance checks
• Interact professionally with customers and represent the company positively

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Class A driving experience
• Valid USA-issued CDL Class A license
• No Felonies
• Clean CDL
