Job Description
- Driver will access and pull containers out of the LA/Long Beach ports and rails and deliver product to customers in Southern CA
- Port work will be the main focus for the driver and they must be willing to run in and out of the ports on a daily basis.
- Container sizes are 53',45',40',and 20'
- At the receiver, freight is a combination of drop/hook and live unload
- Majority of LTL/Intermodal deliveries are drop/hook and live load/unload, but occasional loads will require driver to offload with a pallet jack
- TWIC required
- Hazmat required within 60 days of hire
- Monday to Friday schedule
- 5pm start time
- Home daily
- Weekends Off
- $70,000 per year
- 3 months tractor-trailer experience with a trucking company
