Pay & Schedule
- Competitive hourly wagesstarting at$35.00-$35.50/hr
- Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays
- 45-hour work weekwith overtime opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate aresidential garbage truckon designated routes
- Read and follow route sheets or dispatcher instructions
- Performdailyvehicle inspectionsandbasic maintenance
- Load and unload waste materials-sometimes without assistance
- Operatehydraulic hand controlsto lift and dispose of refuse
- Providecourteouscustomer serviceand complete other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
- Physically demanding role-requireslifting over 50 lbs
- Exposure tooutdoor weather,fumes,vibration, andmoderate noise
- Must follow allsafety protocolsaround moving mechanical parts
Minimum Requirements
- ValidClass A or B CDLwithair brake endorsement
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- High school diploma or GEDpreferred
- At least2 years of relevant driving experience
- Basic knowledge of truck components for inspections
