Waste Connections is seeking a reliable and experienced CDLA Driver to operate our Erie Colorado. The E&P Side Dump Operator is responsible for safely hauling non-hazardous oilfield waste—such as sludge, drilling fluids, and cuttings—from well sites to designated landfills or disposal facilities. ,


Starting Pay: $26.00-$30.00


Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed


Key Responsibilities :


+ Waste CollectionandTransportation :

+ Operate trash trucks to collect garbage, recycling, and yard waste on assigned routes.

+ Ensure the safe and efficient loading of waste materials using appropriate techniques and equipment.

+ Transport collected waste to designated disposal facilities.

+ Vehicle Operation and Maintenance :

+ Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in good working condition.

+ Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the fleet maintenance team promptly.

+ Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety standards.

+ Safety and Compliance :

+ Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while operating the vehicle and handling waste materials.

+ Comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to waste management and transportation.

+ Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and provided.

+ Customer Service :

+ Interact courteously with customers and the public, addressing any questions or concerns professionally.

+ Ensure waste collection services meet customer expectations and resolve issues promptly.

+ Record Keeping :

+ Maintain accurate records of daily routes, waste collected, and any incidents or issues encountered.

+ Complete and submit required documentation in a timely manner.

+ Qualifications:


Qualifications :


+ Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

+ Two years of commercial driving experience _preferred_ .

+ Strong knowledge of local streets and routes.

+ Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety.

+ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and loading heavy items 50 lb +, with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb into the truck multiple times a day.

+ Comfortable working in various weather conditions

+ Good communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Steady working history.

+ Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks.
