Local Class A or B Vac Truck Driver (Vac Truck Exp Required)- Akron, OH - ($30 - $40/hr)

Job Title: CDL Class A or B Vac Truck Operator
Location: Akron, OH

Pay:
• $30 - $40/hr +OT

Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Travel to multiple job sites throughout the area
• Overtime and weekends may be required as needed

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain vacuum trucks  (automatics) and related equipment safely and efficiently
• Remove, transport, and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials including liquids, sludge, and solids
• Perform industrial cleaning services including hydro-excavation, tank cleaning, and line flushing
• Load and unload waste materials using vacuum hoses and pumping systems
• Transport materials to approved disposal and treatment facilities

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Valid CDL Class A or B License required
• Automatic transmission experience preferred
• Air Brake endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement required - Vac Truck exp. REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience required
• Previous vacuum truck or heavy equipment operation experience preferred
• Knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable with effective time management skills

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
• Ability to work in confined spaces and industrial environments
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
