Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as a Registered Nurse!

• Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nursing)
• Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM
• Location: Must live 75 miles away for travel positions; locals are welcome!
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of ED experience required. Travel experience is a must!
• Licenses: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC required. Active NY License verification via NURSYS
• EMR Experience: Familiarity with EPIC is necessary
• Charge Capability: Highly preferred
• Floating: Required within the department
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Unit Details:
  • Number of Beds: 64 beds total (includes 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych)
  • Common Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
  • Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
  • Patient Population: Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
  • Care Expectations: ED nurses are expected to provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE cases.
• Required Drips & Medications:
  • Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine
  • Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG
  • Anti-arrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido
  • Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, TNK, Heparin, Insulin
