Pediatric Home Health LVN / LPN
Akron, OH
$46/HR

Pediatric Home Health LVN / LPN provides skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in the home setting. This role focuses on delivering compassionate, family-centered care while following the established plan of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.

Pediatric Home Health LVN / LPN Responsibilities:

  • Will consist of one visit per shift, LPN will be at the same home the entire shift- patients will be mostly on trachs and vents at home.
  • Travel to homes for up to 1 hour from the facility.
  • This is a dedicated peds home health position – will not be at the facility.


Pediatric Home Health LVN / LPN Requirements:

  • Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
  • 6 months in either home health or an acute care setting is required.
  • PICU exp required.
  • Experience in Pediatrics and/or working with individuals with developmental delays.
  • Experience in managing technology-dependent and/or medically complex patients.
  • Communication skills needed to work with all levels within an organization are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
  • Six months of experience required in one or more of the following areas: Home Care, Geriatric care, Medical/Surgical, CCU, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, or Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).
